Role Purpose

The role is focused on acquiring new corporate clients for staffing, contract hiring, and workforce augmentation services. The Individual Contributor will be responsible for identifying potential organizations, pitching staffing solutions, and securing long-term contracts. The objective is to drive business growth, build recurring revenue streams, and establish strategic partnerships with HR and procurement heads across industries.


Key Accountabilities

  1. New Client Acquisition

    – Identify and engage with HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, and Business Unit Heads across industries to generate leads and onboard new clients for staffing and contract hiring services.
  2. Long-term Contract Conversion

    – Pitch staffing models (C2H, Contractual, RPO, etc.) and secure multi-month or annual manpower outsourcing contracts.
  3. Lead Generation & Follow-up

    – Build and manage a sales funnel through outbound efforts (cold calls, LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking) and ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
  4. Client Relationship Management

    – Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure repeat business and client retention.
  5. Solution Selling

    – Customize proposals based on client-specific hiring challenges and industry needs; work with internal recruitment teams to deliver as per agreed SLAs.
  6. Market Intelligence

    – Track competitor offerings, pricing trends, and industry-specific hiring patterns to position agency services effectively.
  7. Proposal & Agreement Handling

    – Prepare proposals, negotiate commercials, and coordinate with internal teams for timely closure of agreements and onboarding.
  8. Cross-functional Coordination

    – Work closely with operations, recruitment, and delivery teams to ensure smooth fulfillment and client satisfaction.
  9. Compliance & Documentation

    – Ensure contracts comply with labor laws, staffing norms, and internal policies.
  10. Sales Reporting & Review

    – Maintain client interaction logs, deal pipelines, and revenue forecasts using CRM or internal tools. Share weekly/monthly progress reports with management.
  11. Client Onboarding

    – Facilitate seamless handover to the delivery/recruitment team post-contract signing, while staying engaged for relationship continuity.
  12. Event & Network Participation

    – Attend industry events, HR roundtables, and job fairs to generate business leads and improve brand visibility.


Skills & Qualifications Required

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in staffing, recruitment, HR services, or solution sales
  • Strong track record of onboarding enterprise clients and closing long-term contracts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of staffing models like C2H, RPO, temp hiring, and project-based hiring
  • Self-starter with strong execution, networking, and client management capabilities
  • Familiarity with compliance and labor regulations related to staffing is preferred
