Job Description

Role Overview:

Placement Coordinator – Corporate Liaison

This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by creating employment opportunities, mapping skillsets to job roles, and driving corporate engagement through structured programs and placement drives.


Key Responsibilities


Corporate Partnership Development:

  • Identify and onboard new corporate partners with a focus on long-term, recurring hiring arrangements

  • Strategically target large enterprises, MNCs, and fast-growing startups for consistent talent pipeline requirements.
  • Develop MoUs and partnerships that align corporate hiring needs with student capabilities.


Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporate stakeholders.

  • Maintain regular engagement with key decision-makers (HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Leaders, CXOs).
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and feedback sessions to ensure continuity of hiring.


Placement Coordination:

  • Align student placement readiness with employer expectations through workshops and mock interviews.

  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and follow-ups between students and corporate partners.
  • Ensure high placement conversion rates through matchmaking between employer needs and student profiles.


Strategic Initiatives:

  • Plan and execute corporate hiring events such as virtual job fairs, hackathons, and placement weeks.

  • Collaborate with internal academic teams to align course delivery with evolving industry demands.
  • Promote company-branded placement programs with unique value propositions for repeat hiring.


Data & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of placement activity, including company engagement logs, hiring outcomes, and partner feedback.

  • Provide monthly reports on placement performance, partner engagement, and new pipeline development.

Desired Skills

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in corporate relations, campus placements, or recruitment, preferably within EdTech or higher education.
  • Demonstrated

    strong corporate network

    , particularly with large enterprises and mass recruiters.
  • Ability to

    establish recurring placement partnerships

    with corporates based on industry alignment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience in conducting placement drives and managing end-to-end recruitment cycles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of CRM tools, ATS platforms, and data management systems.
