Position Title

Role Overview

The Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for proactively generating and qualifying leads, managing the sales cycle from first contact to closing deals and building long-term customer relationships. The role will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to meet or exceed revenue targets and maintain accurate records of sales activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads by understanding customer needs, budget, and interest level; perform needs-analysis/discovery calls.
  • Present and demonstrate products/services to prospects (via phone, email, online demo or video call), explaining features, benefits and value proposition.
  • Negotiate terms, prepare and send quotes or proposals, and close sales deals.
  • Manage and maintain the sales pipeline: track prospects, follow up with customers, update CRM or database with accurate data of customer interactions and status.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) — may include monthly/quarterly sales quotas.
  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and/or customer service teams to ensure smooth handover, customer satisfaction, and alignment of sales & marketing efforts.
  • Provide after-sales support (if part of role), address customer concerns, and help ensure customer retention and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience (1–3 years, or more depending on seniority) in inside sales, telesales, B2B/B2C sales, or customer-facing sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to listen actively and understand customer needs.
  • Good negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, or internal CRM), and ability to manage sales pipeline and customer data accurately.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team; good time management and organizational abilities.
  • Customer-centric mindset and interpersonal skills — able to build rapport and long-term relationships with customers.
