Job Description

Location: Taloja MIDC, Navi MumbaiDepartment: Sales & MarketingReporting To: Sales Manager / Business HeadExperience: 1–4 YearsQualification: Diploma / BE (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation) or Graduate with relevant experienceRole ObjectiveTo support the field sales and business development team by handling lead management, customer coordination, quotation preparation, follow-ups, order tracking, and CRM updates, ensuring faster closures and smooth sales operations.Key Responsibilities1. Lead Management & Customer CoordinationHandle inbound leads from Siemens, website, email, exhibitions, and referralsQualify leads and coordinate with sales engineers for technical discussionsAct as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and WhatsAppMaintain regular follow-ups with prospects and existing customers2. Quotation & Proposal SupportPrepare techno-commercial quotations in coordination with:Sales EngineersApplication / Engineering TeamPurchase & AccountsTrack quotation status and ensure timely follow-upsShare revised offers as per customer feedback3. Order Closure & DocumentationSupport PO closure, LOI follow-up, and order confirmationCoordinate internal approvals and documentationMaintain complete sales records (Offer → PO → Invoice)4. CRM & Sales ReportingUpdate all leads, follow-ups, quotations, and orders in CRM (Zoho / Excel)Prepare daily and weekly sales MIS reportsTrack conversion ratios and pending opportunities5. Coordination with Internal TeamsCoordinate with:Engineering for technical inputsPurchase for material availabilityAccounts for invoicing and payment follow-upsEnsure smooth handover from sales to execution team6. Support Marketing & Business DevelopmentSupport exhibitions, seminars, and marketing campaignsDatabase management and customer profilingAssist in email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-up callsKey Skills RequiredStrong communication skills (English, Hindi; Marathi preferred)Good email drafting and professional communicationBasic understanding of industrial products / automation preferredProficient in MS Excel, Word, Email, CRM toolsFollow-up discipline and result-oriented mindsetBehavioral CompetenciesOwnership and accountabilityOrganized and process-drivenAbility to work under pressure and deadlinesCustomer-focused attitudeTeam coordination skillsKPI / Performance MetricsNumber of leads handled per monthQuotation TAT (Turnaround Time)Follow-up effectiveness & conversion rateOrder value supportedAccuracy of CRM & documentationWorking ConditionsOffice-based role at Taloja6 days working (as per company policy)Growth opportunity into Sales Coordinator / Key Account Support
