Role Overview

We are seeking a technically competent Inside Sales Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to support our sales operations. This role serves as a critical liaison between outside sales, customers, and production, managing quotations, order coordination, and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical quotations based on customer drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with outside sales team to support customer inquiries and follow-ups
• Track order status from order placement through production to delivery
• Serve as primary liaison between outside sales and production team
• Attend production meetings to update order status and prioritize based on delivery dates
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, delays, or changes
• Work closely with production team to schedule orders according to customer priorities
• Maintain organized records of quotations, orders, and customer communications
• Follow up with customers for order confirmations, specifications, and payment
• Coordinate with quality and dispatch teams to ensure complete documentation and timely delivery
• Support customer technical queries with engineering and production teams
• Identify opportunities for repeat orders and inform outside sales team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related engineering discipline
• 1-2 years of experience in technical sales, customer coordination, or manufacturing operations
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong technical communication skills to discuss product specifications with customers
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel for order tracking, Word for quotations)
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery commitments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CRM or ERP systems
• Knowledge of API 6A or oilfield products
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (casting, forging, machining)
• Experience in B2B industrial sales
• Exposure to export documentation and processes
