Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware and Network Engineer with expertise in networking, Cisco technologies, firewalls, desktop support, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing IT infrastructure while ensuring seamless hardware and network operations. Experience : Minimum 8yrs. Critical Skills & Personal Attributes : Network Infrastructure & Security: Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points. Manage and troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment (CCNA/CCNP level preferred). Implement and maintain firewall security policies (Fortinet, SOPHOS, Cisco, etc.). Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and security. Configure and manage VPN, VLANs, and WAN/LAN connectivity. 2. IT Hardware & Desktop Support: Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to Windows, Linux, and macOS environments. Handle system upgrades, patches, and OS deployments. Manage and maintain server hardware, storage, and backup solutions. 3. Cloud & Virtualization: Deploy and manage cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Maintain virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V,. Support hybrid cloud infrastructure and cloud security best practices. 4. Security & Compliance: Implement cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, and anti-virus solutions. Ensure compliance with IT security standards (ISO 27001, etc.). Perform & mitigate network penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. 5. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and configuration details. Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and security threats. Provide recommendations for hardware and software upgrades. Required Skills : 7+ years of experience in network engineering, IT support, and security Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking (Routers, Switches, Firewalls and WIFI controller) Proficiency in firewall management (SOPHOS, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.) Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VoIP systems Ability to document network architecture and configurations effectively Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, MCSE/MCSA, AWS/Azure, CompTIA Security+, or CEH Add-On Knowledge of Linux administration Experience with network automation (Ansible, Terraform) Familiarity with Zero Trust Security models and endpoint security solutions Note : We are 6 days working in a week ( 9.00 am to 5.30 pm) Show more Show less
