Information Technology Specialist

As an Information Technology (IT) Specialist at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, and enhancing our IT infrastructure to meet the business needs. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing timely and effective technical support to end-users on hardware, software, networks, and systems. - Maintaining and monitoring LAN/WAN, servers, firewalls, and other IT systems for optimal performance. - Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software applications and hardware equipment. - Implementing cybersecurity measures, ensuring data backup, and protecting against unauthorized access and data breaches. - Regularly updating and maintaining software, firmware, and hardware for improved functionality and security. - Keeping accurate records of system configurations, issues, and maintenance logs. - Educating and supporting staff on technology use, best practices, and security protocols. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - 1+ years of proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role. - Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise applications. - Hands-on experience with networks, servers, databases, and cloud platforms. - Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and backup systems. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
