Overall Purpose of the Role

The PMO will be responsible for driving critical projects across the insurance domain, ensuring sustainable results and long-term benefit realization. This role requires strong leadership, expertise in change management, and deep knowledge of SDLC cycles, with a focus on quality, governance, and continuous improvement.

Job Specifications

• 8–10 years of proven experience in

  Insurance industry PMO

  , change management, and SDLC cycle.
• Extensive hands-on experience in

  Quality Assurance

  , Lean & Improvement Methodology.
• Certified in

  Six Sigma/Lean (Green/Black Belt)

  with practical experience in projects, process improvements, and assurance activities (Add on).
• Successfully executed

  critical cross-functional projects

  across multiple geographies and diverse client environments.

Key Performance Areas – Project Management

• Drive structured

  Project Management processes

  : need identification, review, closure, sign-offs, and implementation.
• Act as a

  JIRA tool expert

  : lead adoption, manage training, and ensure effective usage across teams.
• Engage in

  Critical Strategic Initiatives

  and high-impact projects.
• Lead projects with strong

  leadership and management qualities

  .
• Analyze

  Audit, Assurance, and Complaint reports

  to identify gaps and project opportunities.
• Establish dashboards for stakeholder reviews, monitor progress, and implement governance mechanisms.
• Facilitate timely execution of projects, ensuring

  effective change management

  post-completion for sustainability and replication.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, develop improvement plans, and provide updates to senior management.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities through brainstorming sessions and focus group discussions.

Knowledge & Skills Required

• Strong understanding of

  process design

  : Risk analysis, RACI, Metrics, SIPOC, Swim Lane diagrams, Business rules, Exception matrices, Value Chain Mapping, Customer Journey Mapping.
• Proficiency in

  process flowcharting tools

  (Excel, Word, PPT, MS Visio).
• Exposure to

  ‘As-Is’ vs. ‘To-Be’ mapping projects

  with change management and transition.
• In-depth knowledge of

  operational processes and industry regulations

  .
• Strong expertise in

  Project Management methodologies

  .
• Certified in

  Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)

  and Project Management (PMP/Prince2).
• High-level knowledge of

  Life Insurance domain

  and its key value chains.

Education / Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree or

  MBA

  in a relevant field.
