Information Technology Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate IT staff, ensuring a high-performance team.
• Oversee IT support operations, ensuring efficient issue resolution and adherence to SLAs.
• Maintain a knowledge base of recurring IT issues and solutions.
• Oversee IT networks, storage, and end-user devices.
• Administer Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows servers for optimal performance.
• Ensure the reliability of environments, telecommunication systems, and IT equipment.
• Monitor and upgrade IT hardware and software for efficiency and security.
• Implement IT security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct security audits and investigations for compliance and risk mitigation.
• Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees.
• Manage vendor contracts and ensure seamless integration of third-party IT solutions.
• Align IT initiatives with business needs, optimizing technology investments.
• Stay updated on the best industry compliance frameworks and laws.
• Assist the Corporate IT team
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend technology improvements.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and best practices for security, software and hardware.
• Ensure that the guidelines, standards, and norms set by the corporate IT area are followed in the India office
• Act as the main IT liaison to Corporate IT at the India Office.
• Oversee helpdesk operations, ensuring timely support and resolution.
• Provide 2nd-line support for business applications and software troubleshooting.
• Train employees on IT systems and cybersecurity best practices.

1. Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Recognized IT certifications (e.g., Windows, Cisco, A+, ITIL, Azure, Oracle)
• Advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s in IT, MBA with IT focus)

2. Experience & Leadership

• 10-15 years of IT experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record in IT project management and change management
• Experience managing IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Strong background in IT infrastructure, security, and risk management
• Familiarity with helpdesk operations, ticketing systems, and SLAs

3. Technical Skills

• Systems Administration: Windows Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint
• Networking & Security: Firewalls, VPNs, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
• Cloud & Virtualization: Microsoft Azure, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: IT Business Continuity Planning, Cybersecurity protocols
