About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Informatica MDM Engineer (Administrator) — Multidomain / Customer 360
to lead and support an enterprise-level data transformation program focused on master data management, data governance, and analytics enablement. This is a hands-on role that combines advanced Informatica MDM development (match/merge, survivorship, data modeling) with platform administration (installation, upgrades, performance tuning, security, and cloud integration). The successful candidate will help define and drive MDM best practices, contribute to platform architecture and operational runbooks, and collaborate closely with data engineering, governance, and business teams to deliver stable, scalable, and secure MDM solutions integrated with modern cloud platforms and governance tools.
Key Responsibilities
Development
- Design and implement MDM solutions using Informatica MDM (Multidomain/Customer 360).
- Develop match/merge rules, cleansing strategies, hierarchy management, and survivorship logic.
- Build data integrations with downstream apps, APIs, ETL (PowerCenter, IDMC), and cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks).
- Support metadata management, lineage tracking, and integration with governance tools (Collibra, Purview).
- Contribute to enterprise data catalog and marketplace initiatives.
Administration
- Install, configure, and upgrade Informatica MDM/IDMC environments.
- Manage user provisioning, security roles, RBAC, and access policies.
- Monitor system performance, logs, and job executions; ensure uptime and SLA adherence.
- Troubleshoot platform, connectivity, and performance issues.
- Implement backup, recovery, and patch management strategies.
- Collaborate with infrastructure/cloud teams on environment scaling, optimization, and DevOps automation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years hands-on experience in Informatica MDM (Multidomain/Customer 360).
- Strong experience with IDMC and PowerCenter for MDM and ETL operations.
- Proven expertise in MDM administration (installation, upgrades, patching, role-based access, monitoring).
- Strong data modeling, quality, match/merge, and hierarchy management experience.
- Working knowledge of Azure Data Services, Databricks, Azure SQL.
- Familiarity with Collibra, Purview, or metadata/catalog tools.
- Strong SQL and troubleshooting/performance tuning skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Azure DevOps, JIRA).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to tools like OneTrust, Poolparty, SAP BO, Power BI.
- Knowledge of PII detection, policy enforcement, or policies-as-code.
- Familiarity with self-service analytics and data marketplace concepts.
