Job Title : International Financial Controller
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for international business units.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements across operating geographies.
- Consolidate global financial statements and oversee monthly/quarterly/year-end closing processes.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate new market entries, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
- Implement robust internal controls, risk management, and audit practices.
- Drive working capital optimization, tax planning, and treasury management for overseas entities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies in multiple jurisdictions.
- Support cross-border M&A, partnerships, and expansion initiatives with financial due diligence.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team across international locations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant with 7-12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 7 years in an international finance leadership role.
- Strong exposure to FMCG / Consumer Wellness / Retail sectors preferred.
- Expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and multi-country statutory reporting.
- Proven track record in financial consolidation, compliance, and governance.
- Experience in scaling businesses across global markets (especially US, EU, Middle East, SEA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
