About Insights & Advisory (IA):
Our Insights and Advisory team plays a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and data driven insights to organizations. By analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and business data, our team helps decision-makers make informed choices that can positively impact their organization's performance and bottom line. We work across diverse industries and sectors like Technology, Industrials, Energy, Chemicals, Life Sciences and Logistics, including market research, strategy, sales and marketing, R&D, and more.
What you will be doing at Evalueserve:
- Conduct secondary and primary research, literature reviews, and systematic reviews across public health and social sector domains (e.g., gender, agriculture, financial inclusion).
- Perform data collation, analysis, and synthesis, with the ability to extract insights and present them through tables, graphs, dashboards, and other visual formats.
- Develop and maintain internal and client databases, repositories, and knowledge systems, ensuring accuracy and regular updates.
- Co-lead project execution and delivery, including planning, managing, and executing strategic requests for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Draft, edit, and finalize reports, presentations, briefs, dashboards, and research outputs, ensuring high-quality, client-ready deliverables.
- Translate complex data into crisp summaries and insights tailored for diverse audiences, using innovative and user-friendly visualizations.
- Collaborate with senior management to support strategy development for the public health and broader social sector portfolio.
- Apply strategic, evaluation, and M&E frameworks (theory of change, log frames, results frameworks, impact assessment methods) to assess interventions, measure progress, and strengthen evidence-based recommendations.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, policies, and sectoral developments, identifying relevant sources and communicating them effectively to stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
- Professional experience at least 3-4 years with sufficient experience in health and socio economic research in India and globally.
- MA/MPhil (preferably from a US/UK University) in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Management
- Relevant work experience or exposure to developing world’s issues in Public Health, Public Policy, Nutrition, Family Planning, Maternal and Child Health, Digital Health, Financial Inclusion and Gender, Immunization, Climate Change, & Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation.
- Excellent research and writing skills. Exhibit flexibility in moving across development and preparation of multiple document types – articles, posters, abstracts etc.
- Experience in India and/or South Asia is essential.
- Experience with sociodemographic databases & datasets (NFHS, SRS, HMIS etc.)
- Experience with strategy execution, measurement, review and adjustment is preferable.
- Experience in report and academic paper writing.
- Excellent oral, facilitation, and written communication skills.
- Strong quantitative knowledge with a demonstrated ability to extract appropriate data and synthesize insights from them to convey complex information through the use of supporting tables, graphs and other visual representations. Ability to prepare crisp summaries and reports for dissemination to a diverse stakeholder.
- Ability to be independent and work effectively and with sensitivity across barriers such as language, culture and distance.
