About This Role

We are hiring a senior HR professional with strong command over payroll administration, statutory compliance, and HR operations. This role demands an experienced individual who can independently lead processes, manage audits, and ensure adherence to labour laws while supporting business needs.


Key Responsibilities:-

1.Payroll Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end payroll processing for the organisation with complete accuracy.
  • Review and approve attendance, leave, OT, salary revisions, and variable payouts.
  • Drive full & final settlements, reimbursements, and statutory bonus calculations.
  • Collaborate with Finance for payroll closure and resolve escalated issues.


2.Statutory Compliance Management

  • Ensure 100% compliance across PF, ESIC, PT, no LWF, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment, Minimum Wages, and other statutory requirements (Delhi + multi-state).
  • Prepare and file statutory returns and maintain all challans, registers, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Handle inspections, audits, and correspondence with labour authorities confidently.
  • Stay updated on changes in labour laws and guide management on implications.


3.HR Operations and Governance

  • Oversee employee documentation, HRMS accuracy, and process compliance.
  • Strengthen HR policies and SOPs, ensuring standardisation across locations.
  • Lead onboarding/offboarding compliance and data management.


4.Stakeholder and Employee Management

  • Serve as the central point of contact for payroll and compliance-related queries.
  • Provide senior-level guidance to management on payroll budgeting and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and organization wide trust in HR operations.


Requirements

  • MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
  • 6-10 years of deep experience in payroll + statutory compliance (Delhi NCR experience required).
  • Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and multi-state compliance.
  • Proficiency in HRMS/Payroll software (SAP, Keka, GreytHR, ADP, Odoo etc.).
  • Excellent analytical skills, advanced Excel, and audit handling experience.
  • Mature communication skills and the ability to influence decision-making.


Compensation

Negotiable, based on experience.
