Purpose of the Role

The Senior Executive – Human Resources supports the strategic and day-to-day operations of Loch’s India team by driving recruitment, onboarding, performance frameworks, and compliance activities. The role ensures timely execution of core HR functions while supporting process development and personnel management in a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary environment.


Responsibilities & Duties

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities across functions
  • Conduct structured screening and pre-interview evaluations
  • Manage onboarding logistics, checklists, and documentation compliance

Performance Management and Culture

  • Support the implementation of monthly and quarterly goal-setting cycles
  • Collate and track employee self-assessments and manager reviews
  • Monitor attendance and behavioural indicators through structured logs

HR Compliance and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of employment agreements, leave, and benefits
  • Ensure processes align with Indian labour law and internal policy frameworks
  • Assist in payroll documentation, PF compliance, and benefit tracking

Process Development and Support

  • Participate in drafting and refining SOPs, trackers, and internal forms
  • Support structured induction and training plans for new joiners
  • Liaise with department heads to ensure timely resolution of people issues

General Administration

  • Coordinate feedback loops with employees during key lifecycle milestones
  • Maintain HR dashboards and audit trails for executive oversight
  • Support coordination with legal and finance teams on cross-functional inputs


Key Deliverables

  • Recruitment pipelines maintained with timely hiring across departments
  • All onboarding and exit documentation compliant and stored appropriately
  • Performance assessments completed and tracked for all team members
  • Accurate HR records maintained with supporting trackers
  • SOPs, policies, and HR templates developed and updated


Compliance & Confidentiality

  • All employee information must be stored using approved internal systems only
  • HR personnel must adhere to confidentiality obligations at all times
  • Internal approvals and sign-offs must be secured before employment actions
  • HR records must comply with Indian labour regulations and Loch protocols

  • External vendors (where applicable)


Essential Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal handling
  • Recruitment lifecycle and screening experience
  • Familiarity with Indian labour compliance and documentation norms
  • Competence in maintaining structured trackers and workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple processes with attention to detail
  • Responsiveness to deadlines and internal stakeholder coordination


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years of HR experience in a structured organisation preferred
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and HR information systems desirable
