Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Human Resource Manager to establish and lead our People function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR generalist roles and the ability to develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and processes. This role offers the unique opportunity to build our HR function from scratch, setting the foundation for a positive and productive work environment that aligns with our company culture and values.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company's business objectives
  • Create and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Establish HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and inform decision-making

Talent Acquisition

  • Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Develop and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Build relationships with external recruiters, universities, and professional networks to create a strong talent pipeline
  • Implement innovative sourcing techniques to identify and engage passive candidates

Onboarding and Induction

  • Create a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure smooth integration of new employees
  • Develop orientation materials and processes to familiarize new hires with company culture, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with department heads to tailor onboarding experiences for specific roles

Learning and Development

  • Assess organizational and individual training needs
  • Design and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth
  • Create a framework for continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization
  • Establish mentoring and coaching programs to support employee development

Performance Management

  • Develop and implement a performance management system
  • Create tools and processes for goal setting, performance evaluation, and feedback
  • Train managers on effective performance management techniques
  • Facilitate performance review processes and guide performance improvement plans

Employee Experience and Engagement

  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment
  • Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and develop action plans based on feedback
  • Organize team-building activities, cultural events, and recognition programs
  • Manage internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged

Compensation and Benefits

  • Develop and maintain a competitive compensation and benefits structure
  • Conduct regular market research to ensure compensation packages remain competitive
  • Manage the annual salary review process
  • Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for benefit-related queries

Employee Relations

  • Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Conduct investigations into workplace issues and recommend appropriate actions
  • Guide managers on employee relations matters
