Job Description – HR Intern

Position: HR Intern
Department: Human Resources
Location: Indore
Duration: 3–6 Months (Performance-based Extension/PPO)
Reporting To: HR Manager / Senior Recruiter

Role Overview

The HR Intern will support the HR team in day-to-day hiring operations, talent acquisition activities, documentation, and coordination. This role is ideal for candidates who want to gain hands-on experience in recruitment and HR processes.

Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition

  • Assist in sourcing suitable candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, and internal databases.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist profiles based on job requirements.
  • Conduct initial telephonic screening to evaluate candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and follow up with candidates.
  • Maintain candidate pipeline and update daily trackers.

2. Recruitment Coordination

  • Coordinate with hiring managers for interview scheduling.
  • Share shortlisted profiles with clients (for outsourced recruitment).
  • Support in onboarding and joining formalities of selected candidates.
  • Assist in offer letter preparation and documentation.

3. HR Operations

  • Maintain HR records, databases, and recruitment reports.
  • Support employee engagement activities.
  • Assist in drafting JD, job postings, and HR communication.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Collect, verify, and organize candidate documents.
  • Support background verification process.
  • Ensure confidentiality of company and candidate information.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment and HR concepts.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Eligibility

  • Pursuing or completed Bachelor's/Master’s degree (BBA/MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
  • Freshers with interest in HR may also apply.
