Role Overview:
- We are looking for a seasoned SAP professional to lead the SAP HR and SuccessFactors functional landscape while ensuring seamless continuity of existing ECC HR operations and supporting the ongoing transition to SAP SuccessFactors.
- The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in SAP HCM functional processes, proven hands-on experience in SuccessFactors implementation and operations, and the ability to interact with HR business stakeholders.
- Exposure to SAP Basis administration, particularly on S/4HANA RISE and hybrid environments, will be considered a significant advantage.
- This is a leadership position that requires both functional depth and cross-dominance understanding, balancing business engagement with technical oversight
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP HR & SuccessFactors Functional Leadership (Must Have)
- Lead end-to-end SAP HR operations for existing ECC HR modules (PA, OM, Payroll, Time, E SS/MSS).
- Manage and support the implementation, stabilization, and enhancement of SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Recruitment, and Onboarding.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into effective SAP configurations and business-aligned solutions.
- Ensure continuity of HR processes during the ECC-to- SuccessFactors transition and hybrid operations phase.
- Provide strategic direction for process optimization, automation, and digit al HR transformation initiatives.
- Coordinate integration between SAP SuccessFactors, SAP ECC/S4HANA, and third-party applications through SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or equivalent middleware.
2. Business Engagement and Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR function heads, ensuring business alignment, issue resolution, and proactive communication.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Basis, Security, and Infrastructure for end-to-end service delivery.
- Manage vendor relationships, monitor SLA adherence, and ensure quality of external partner deliverables.
- Lead governance reviews, system audits, and periodic performance assessments of HR systems
SAP Basis & Technical Landscape (Preferred but Valuable) (Preferred exposure to complement HR ownership)
- Understand and coordinate SAP Basis operations including system performance, client management, transport administration, and patching in collaboration with technical teams.
- Awareness of S/4HANA and RISE with SAP landscapes, including system provisioning, connectivity with BTP (Business s Technology Platform), and integration with SuccessFactors.
- Knowledge of system migrations, upgrades, and cloud connectivity (Azu re/AWS).
- Familiarity with SAP Security concepts, user role management, and audit compliance.
- Partner with Basis team to ensure high availability, DR readiness, and security compliance for HR systems.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, Time, Payroll).
- Proven track record in SuccessFactors implementation and support particularly Employee Central and at least one of PMGM, RCM, or Onboarding.
- Deep understanding of HR business processes (hire-to-retire, payroll integration, performance management).
- Proficiency in integration between SAP ECC/S4HANA and SuccessFactors via CPI or middleware tools.
- Sound knowledge of testing, cutover planning, and data migration activities during transformation programs.
- Exposure to SAP Basis administration, including SAP system performance monitoring and tuning. Transport, patches, and upgrades. S/4HANA RISE system management, BTP integration awareness.
- System refreshes, client copies, and environment synchronization. Coordination of backup recovery, and DR drills. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
- SAP SuccessFactors Certification (Employee Central or another module)
Mandatory.
- SAP HCM Functional Certification Preferred.
- SAP Basis or S/4HANA RI SE Certification Additional advantage
- ITIL or PMP certification will be considered beneficial
Work Experience
- 15-20 years of total SAP experience, with at least: 8+ years in SAP HR/HCM Functional roles.
- 4+ years in SAP SuccessFactors implementation/support.
- 35 years exposure to SAP Basis/S4 RISE coordination or understanding (preferred). Proven track record of leading HR system transformations or hybrid ECCSF landscapes.
