To strengthen our leadership team and support our growing workforce of 30+ employees, we are looking for an experienced HR Professional who has previously worked in the CHA / Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruitment for field and office roles (CHA executives, documentation, operations, sales, drivers, accountants, etc.)
• On-boarding, induction, and documentation (appointment letters, PF/ESI registration, background verification)
• Payroll processing (attendance, overtime, leave encashment, full & final settlement) using HR software / Excel
• Statutory compliance: PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Labour Law, Shops & Establishment
• Maintaining personal files, HRIS, and employee database
• Handling employee relations, grievances, warnings, and exit interviews
• Performance appraisal process and increment recommendations
• Training & development needs identification, especially for customs/documentation/operations staff
• Managing office administration whenever required (attendance biometric, vendor coordination, stationery, etc.)
• Policy implementation and improving HR processes for a logistics environment (shift management, field staff compliance, etc.)

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on HR experience, mandatory 1+ years specifically in a Custom House Agent (CHA), Freight Forwarding, or International Logistics company
• Complete understanding of manpower challenges in logistics industry (field staff, drivers, documentation executives, 24×7 operations)
• Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi (both spoken and written) – confident, professional, and mature personality
• Proven ability to handle end-to-end payroll and statutory compliance independently
• Working knowledge of HR software or Excel-based payroll systems
• Strong documentation and email drafting skills
• Ability to manage office administration and coordinate with multiple departments
• High ownership, maturity, and capability to work under pressure in a fast-moving industry
