Your Role
THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION ON-SITE BASED OUT OF OUR KOLKATA OFFICE.
Responsibilities
As a motivated and detail-oriented HR & Operations Executive, you will support our Head of Human Resources with core HR functions, recruitment initiatives, and day-to-day operational and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in financial services, quantitative investment, or financial markets, bringing an understanding of the unique needs of a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, scheduling, coordination, and onboarding) with a focus on finance and technology talent at both the experienced level and at the campus level.
- Maintain HR records, employee data, and ensure regulatory compliance with central and state labour laws.
- Support in developing and implementing HR policies, holiday management, performance management processes, and employee engagement initiatives suited to a high-performance culture.
- Assist with payroll coordination, employee on- and off-boarding, employee benefits administration, employer branding, corporate gifting, and liaise with finance.
- Oversee office operations, vendor management, and basic facilities management.
- Provide administrative support to senior leadership and coordinate across teams.
- Coordinate, manage both internal and external events and activities for staff and management.
Our Needs
- Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, and/or operations, ideally within financial services, quantitative investment, or capital markets.
- Familiarity with the unique requirements of hiring for finance, tech, and trading roles.
- Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office + Google workspace tools and experience with HRIS/ATS systems is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-team, high-stakes environment; work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and number crunching abilities with an eye for detail.
