Job Description

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for HR Manager 1. Purpose To establish a standardized framework for the Human Resources (HR) Manager in managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration effectively and efficiently. 2. Scope Applies to the HR Manager and HR team across all departments within the organization. 3. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Act as a liaison between management and employees. Oversee all HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance, and employee welfare. Safeguard confidentiality of employee records. --- 4. Procedures A. Recruitment & Onboarding 1. Identify manpower requirements with department heads. 2. Draft and post job descriptions on approved platforms. 3. Screen applications and schedule interviews. 4. Conduct interviews with relevant stakeholders. 5. Issue offer letters and contracts. 6. Facilitate onboarding (orientation, policy briefing, IT setup, buddy system). B. Employee Records & Documentation 1. Maintain updated employee database (digital & physical). 2. Ensure employment contracts, IDs, tax documents, and personal files are complete. 3. Regularly update records for promotions, transfers, and exits. C. Payroll & Benefits Administration 1. Collect and verify attendance/leave records. 2. Process payroll in compliance with statutory requirements (tax, social security, etc.). 3. Administer employee benefits (health insurance, allowances, bonuses). 4. Address payroll discrepancies promptly. D. Performance Management 1. Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with department heads. 2. Coordinate periodic appraisals and feedback sessions. 3. Identify training and development needs. 4. Manage recognition and reward programs. E. Employee Relations & Engagement 1. Act as first point of contact for employee grievances. 2. Conduct investigations into workplace issues. 3. Organize team-building and engagement activities. 4. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture. F. Compliance & Policy Management 1. Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety regulations, and company rules. 2. Update HR policies periodically and communicate changes. 3. Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments. G. Training & Development 1. Identify skills gaps with department heads. 2. Organize training programs, workshops, and e-learning. 3. Evaluate effectiveness of training initiatives. H. Exit & Offboarding 1. Conduct exit interviews. 2. Process final settlements (salary, benefits, tax clearance). 3. Ensure return of company property. 4. Remove system access and update records. --- 5. Reporting Submit monthly HR reports to senior management (headcount, recruitment status, attrition, payroll summary, training activities). Highlight risks and recommend solutions. --- 6. Review This SOP should be reviewed annually or when there are significant changes in labor laws or company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
