Job Description

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading HR functions and initiatives aligned with business goals across Oil & Gas, Defense, and Aerospace verticals. The role involves workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training, and performance management, ensuring HR practices support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth in highly regulated and technical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Develop and implement hiring strategies for engineering, technical, and field roles specific to oil & gas, defense, and aerospace operations.
  • Partner with business leaders to forecast workforce requirements based on project pipelines and contract obligations.
  • Lead recruitment for specialized roles requiring security clearance and industry-specific certifications.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster a positive and compliant workplace culture that upholds organizational values and industry ethics.
  • Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures in accordance with labor laws and defense industry protocols.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and internal communication programs.

3. Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs specific to safety, compliance, and technical skill development in high-risk and high-skill environments.
  • Design competency frameworks and succession planning models for critical roles.
  • Implement leadership and behavioral development programs aligned with organizational goals.

4. Performance Management

  • Lead the performance management cycle, ensuring clear KPIs aligned with operational and project objectives.
  • Partner with line managers to conduct appraisals, performance reviews, and career progression planning.

5. Compliance & HR Governance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, defense sector HR regulations, and international standards (e.g., ITAR, DFARS, local labor codes).
  • Maintain employee documentation and ensure confidentiality, especially for employees with security clearance.
  • Support audits and reporting for regulatory, defense, and safety compliance.

6. Compensation & Benefits

  • Benchmark compensation structures to attract and retain niche talent within oil & gas and aerospace domains.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and incentive programs ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and compliance.

7. HR Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Act as an HR business partner to management, aligning HR initiatives with operational and strategic goals.
  • Provide insights using HR metrics (attrition, productivity, training ROI, etc.) to support data-driven decision-making.
