Role & responsibilities 1. Attend to the work in OTs by assisting anesthetists. 2. To clean and check lines for any gas leakage, before the arrival of anesthetist. 4. To clean all the equipments in OT in general and endotracheal tubes, in particular and ensure drying them under fan for reuse 5. To clean and pack after drying of the plastic tubes for ETO sterilization 6. To make the sets for regional (Spinal & Epidural) anesthesia 7. To prepare the sets for central lines 8. To send all the sets and equipments for central sterilization unit and also receive them and make them available in OT 9. To send reusable ventilatory tubing for sterilization 10. To arrange medicines and consumables a day prior to surgery 11. To assist the anesthetists for loading drugs at ventilator 12. To arrange the required medical gases in the OTs 13. To maintain narcotic drug usage register. 14. To maintain consumables sheet
