Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Edit and proofread medical manuscripts, journal articles, slide decks, abstracts, posters, case reports, and other scientific deliverables.
Ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, grammar, consistency, and adherence to client/journal guidelines.
Fact-check medical terminology, data, and references.
Review formatting, layout, typesetting, and ensure proper referencing (AMA style, journal requirements).
Conduct quality checks, manage document versions, and ensure all editorial comments are resolved.
Support manuscript submissions and follow established SOPs.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong editing and proofreading skills in medical/scientific content.
Proficiency in literature search tools (PubMed, MEDLINE, Cochrane, etc.)
Experience with reference management tools (EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero).
Excellent English communication and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Understanding of HTA, EMA, FDA, WHO guidelines.
