Job Description: Jr. Executive/Executive/Sr. Executive - HR (Recruitment) Department: Human Resources Location: Head Office, Chennai Experience: 3-6 years in HR/Recruitment (Construction/PEB industry preferred) Key Responsibilities End-to-End Recruitment Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment plans and strategies to attract qualified candidates. Collaborate with department managers to draft accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Post job advertisements and review incoming applications. Source candidates through multiple channels including Naukri, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, social media, etc. Screen resumes for both technical and non-technical roles. Conduct initial HR screenings and coordinate interviews with technical panels. Design and assess assignments to evaluate candidates’ language skills, logical reasoning, and aptitude. Ensure all assessments and evaluations align with job requirements. Negotiate job offers and salary packages with selected candidates. Release offer letters and follow up with candidates until their date of joining (DOJ). Share regular recruitment updates and reports with management. Ensure new hires align with the company’s culture and values. Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for future requirements. Campus & College Outreach Establish and maintain relationships with colleges and universities for campus drives. Travel across India for mass hiring and recruitment drives. Onboarding & Documentation Manage smooth onboarding processes and joining formalities at Head Office and project sites. Prepare appointment letters and maintain personal files for new hires. Submit documentation to the payroll team for processing. Coordinate with the Admin team for all logistical and operational needs for new joiners (e.g., stationery, uniforms, ID cards, bank accounts). Reporting & HR Coordination Daily: Update recruitment trackers and organization charts. Weekly: Maintain a comprehensive tracker for all HR activities. Ad-hoc: Provide reports to management as and when required. Collaborate with internal departments on HR initiatives and projects. HR Policy Adherence & Learning Ensure adherence to company HR policies and guidelines. Stay updated on new HR trends, tools, and industry best practices. Training & Onboarding Support Organize induction programs and onboarding training for new employees. Support the development of structured training content and delivery modules. Additional Responsibilities Perform other HR / related tasks as assigned by management or reporting authority. Remain flexible and open to evolving responsibilities based on organizational needs. Qualifications MBA in HR / MSW / Relevant Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Skills & Competencies Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets (Trackers, VLOOKUP), Mail Merge, and HRMS tools Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Strong stakeholder management and coordination with vendors, project sites, and HO teams Show more Show less
