Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Payroll Management

  • Collect and verify attendance, leave, and overtime data for all employees.
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Handle salary revisions, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements.
  • Ensure proper calculation of statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, PT, LWF, etc.).
  • Coordinate with finance for disbursement of salaries.
  • Maintain confidentiality of salary and employee data.
  • Generate payroll-related reports such as payslips, salary registers, and statutory summaries.

2. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure timely deposit and filing of PF, ESI, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory records and registers as per labor laws.
  • Coordinate with auditors and government departments during inspections.

3. Attendance and Leave Management

  • Maintain employee attendance and leave records in HRMS or manual registers.
  • Monitor absenteeism, late comings, and leave encashment.
  • Reconcile attendance data with biometric or access control systems.

4. HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee personal files and HR databases.
  • Prepare appointment letters, confirmations, transfers, and exit documents.
  • Handle employee joining formalities and exit clearance procedures.
  • Support HR documentation, policy implementation, and record keeping.

5. Recruitment and Onboarding (as needed)

  • Assist in shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and candidate coordination.
  • Conduct employee induction and ensure smooth onboarding.

6. Employee Relations and Support

  • Address employee payroll-related queries promptly and effectively.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all HR matters.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Commerce, or Business Administration (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in HR and payroll processing.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software (e.g., Excel, Tally, GreytHR, SAP, or similar HRMS).
  • Strong understanding of statutory laws – PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, TDS, and Labor Laws.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced Excel and HRMS knowledge required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
