About Studio Underground

Studio Underground is a dynamic and fast-growing creative production house specializing in innovative storytelling and cutting-edge content creation.

We are looking for a proactive, driven, and well-organized HR and Admin Manager to oversee and streamline our day-to-day operations, support our growing team, and ensure a productive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end-to-end hiring processes for all roles across departments.
  • Proactively identify and approach candidates from competing organizations and relevant industries.
  • Manage job postings, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

2. Employee Engagement & Management

  • Maintain employee records and manage attendance, leaves, and related compliance.
  • Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution professionally.
  • Drive employee motivation and productivity by creating engagement activities or tasks on lenient workdays.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive work culture.

3. Office Administration

  • Supervise and ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day office operations.
  • Uphold office discipline and professional decorum at all times.
  • Manage office supplies, vendors, maintenance, and facility coordination.

4. Production Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Creative Head to understand upcoming shooting plans.
  • Coordinate the availability and scheduling of assistant directors and freelancers, especially for shoots in other states.
  • Handle end-to-end logistics for production travel, including bookings for transport, hotels, and on-site arrangements for the production team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years in HR and Administration, preferably in media, production, or creative industries.
  • Proven experience in HR and administrative functions, preferably within the media or production industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficient in HR software, MS Office Suite, and administrative tools.
  • A proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.
