Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Hostess to join our team in the Food and Beverage Service department at Hotel Fairmont. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage front desk operations, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes for guests.
Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the food and beverage area.
Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in hosting or hospitality roles, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of food and beverage services, including menu items and pricing.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
