Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to lead VServe’s finance function and ensure strong financial governance across our multi-country operations. This individual will play a pivotal role in scaling our financial processes, ensuring multi-geography compliance, and supporting executive decision-making with accurate and timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Management

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements tailored for internal and external stakeholders.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and margin reporting across all business units.

• Strengthen internal controls, ensure timely reconciliations, and implement discipline in financial reporting across delivery centers.

• Track financial performance at the service-line and client level, improving visibility and driving accountability.

Multi-Country Compliance & Risk

• Ensure financial compliance with applicable statutory and tax requirements across India, the Philippines, and the U.S.

• Oversee intercompany transactions, transfer pricing documentation, and tax-efficient structures for cross-border operations.

• Manage audits, tax filings, and risk assessments with external consultants and legal advisors in multiple jurisdictions.

• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and proactively ensure organizational readiness.

Strategic Finance & Process Optimization

• Collaborate with leadership to support financial strategy, cash flow planning, and margin optimization initiatives.

• Support investor and board reporting requirements, including data for fundraising or due diligence.

• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives across the finance function.

• Participate in the integration of new entities, partnerships, or M&A transactions as the company scales.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller, preferably in an outsourcing, IT services, or BPO environment.

• Proven track record of managing multi-entity finance operations across geographies.

• Strong understanding of financial compliance, internal controls, and reporting standards.

• Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration between delivery, HR, and leadership teams.

• Excellent communication skills, executive reporting experience, and a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with U.S.-based clients and familiarity with U.S. financial compliance expectations.

• Exposure to investor-backed or high-growth service businesses.

• Prior experience managing intercompany structures and FX/cash repatriation planning.
