Checking the inventory of critical materials (personally if needed) according to the Shortage List. Getting in touch with the right warehouse personnel and having the discrepancy modified if there is any inventory discrepancies. Handling purchasing data privacy. Assuring all active components according to production needs, in time, for the accord price in the request. Reviews requisitions and MRP output. Confers with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability and delivery schedule. Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output. Maintains procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery and inventories. Manages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate. Approves invoices for payment. Investigation inventory levels. Monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle. Conducts quarterly supplier reviews.
