Job Description

Job Summary

The Warehouse Head is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, and team supervision.

The role ensures efficient workflows, compliance with safety standards, and alignment with organizational goals.

The Warehouse Head will manage a team, optimize processes, and use data-driven insights to enhance operational performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Inventory Management:

o Maintain accurate inventory records for all products, ensuring stock levels meet demand forecasts.

o Conduct regular stock audits to minimize discrepancies and prevent stockouts or overstocking.

2. Order Fulfillment:

o Oversee picking, packing, and dispatching of orders to meet delivery timelines.

o Ensure order accuracy and adherence to product handling standards.

3. Team Management: o Lead the warehouse team across all regions.

o Train staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and use of warehouse management systems (WMS).

o Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage for operational hours.

4. Process Optimization: o Implement efficient warehouse processes to reduce order processing time and optimize space utilization.

o Leverage technology/ Process (e.g., WMS, scanners) to improve operational efficiency.

o Identify and address bottlenecks in workflows to enhance productivity.

5. Safety and Compliance:

o Enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment, including proper handling of materials.

o Ensure compliance with local regulations, including storage, transportation, and workplace safety standards.

o Conduct regular safety training and audits.

6. Data Reporting and Analysis:

o Monitor daily/weekly reports on inventory levels, order fulfilment rates, and operational performance.

o Analyse data to provide insights for improving warehouse efficiency and forecasting demand.

o Share performance metrics with senior management to support strategic decisions.

Qualification:-

Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

a. 12+ Years of warehouse management experience.

b. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tools.

c. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

d. Certifications in logistics or safety are a plus.
