We are looking for a visionary Head of Social to own and elevate the voice of the brands we work with. In this strategic role, you will sit at the intersection of creativity and data, defining how we show up across all social platforms to drive meaningful growth. What you’ll be doing

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement a robust social media strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances the brand's online presence.
  • Identify key social media platforms and channels for brand promotion and engagement.
  • Set clear objectives and KPIs for social media initiatives and campaigns.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the social media team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative team environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Content Strategy and Creation:

  • Oversee the development of high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for various social media platforms.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to produce compelling multimedia content.

Community Management and Engagement:

  • Monitor and respond to audience interactions, fostering a positive and active online community.
  • Develop strategies to increase follower engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilise social media analytics tools to track performance metrics, analyze data, and generate insights.
  • Provide regular reports on social media performance, including campaign effectiveness, audience growth, and engagement rates.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine and optimise social media strategies.

Collaboration and Cross-functional Support:

  • Work closely with marketing, PR, customer service, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated campaigns.
  • Support product launches, events, and other marketing initiatives through targeted social media efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices.

Brand Advocacy and Crisis Management:

  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the brand's voice and values are consistently represented online.
  • Develop and implement social media policies and guidelines.
  • Manage and mitigate potential social media crises with strategic communication plans.


What you’ll bring

  • A strong track record in senior social media management, with a portfolio demonstrating successful organic and paid growth strategies.
  • Tangible experience managing and developing a team, conducting performance reviews, and nurturing talent.
  • The ability to translate high-level business objectives into tactical social media plans.
  • Experience handling sensitive brand situations or PR crises within the digital landscape.
  • Deep technical knowledge of social media management platforms
  • A sharp eye for design and copy, ensuring all creative assets meet strict brand guidelines.
