About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Shopify Department



Key Responsibilities

Shopify Strategy & Operations

  • Lead and manage all Shopify stores, ensuring seamless daily operations.
  • Oversee product listings, collections, pricing accuracy, SEO content, and catalog structuring.
  • Plan and execute strategies to improve conversion rate, customer journey, and overall store performance.
  • Implement UX/UI improvements, landing page enhancements, and A/B testing frameworks.

Technical Management

  • Coordinate with developers for theme customization, Liquid coding updates, speed optimization, and functional enhancements.
  • Manage and optimize integrations, Shopify apps, payment gateways, CRM, and automation tools.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure uninterrupted store functionality.

Business Performance & Growth

  • Develop data-driven strategies to increase online sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing teams for campaign execution and promotional planning.
  • Monitor KPIs including traffic, conversion rates, AOV, bounce rate, cart abandonment, and customer retention.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Shopify executives, developers, designers, and product coordinators.
  • Allocate tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular reviews.
  • Build strong cross-functional communication with Inventory, Logistics, Purchase, Marketing, and Sales teams.

Operations, Inventory & Fulfillment Coordination

  • Ensure product availability accuracy and timely updates with warehouse and inventory teams.
  • Monitor order flow, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate with operations to maintain service quality.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to reduce manual errors.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare periodic performance reports and insights for management.
  • Recommend improvements based on customer behaviour, product performance, and market analysis.



Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in managing Shopify stores; minimum 2–3 years in a team-leading or managerial role.
  • Expertise in

    Shopify / Shopify Plus

    , theme customization, Liquid code, API integrations, and Shopify apps.
  • Strong understanding of

    e-commerce best practices

    , product merchandising, CRO, and funnel optimization.
  • Working knowledge of

    HTML, CSS, JavaScript

    (preferred).
  • Proficiency in

    Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, SEO principles

    , and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-department coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sharp attention to detail.
