Head of Purchasing

Location: Baroda / Vadodara

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 – 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴

We are looking for an experienced and strategic professional to lead our Purchasing and Supply Chain function at GB Solar.

This leadership role will be pivotal in driving cost efficiency, ensuring procurement excellence, and strengthening vendor partnerships to support our fast-growing solar manufacturing operations.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

 • Lead strategic sourcing and procurement for all direct and indirect categories.

 • Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery.

 • Drive cost optimization, negotiation, and contract management initiatives.

 • Implement transparent, process-driven procurement systems aligned with company goals.

 • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the supply chain and inventory efficiency.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

 • 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain leadership roles.

 • No bar for exceptional candidates.

 • Experience in Solar / Renewable / Manufacturing industry preferred.
