Head of Product

You will translate organisational needs into scalable AI products, ensure alignment with the company’s mission, and act as the critical link between customers, engineering, data science, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Vision

• Define and Champion:

  Establish a clear long-term product vision and strategy aligned with Company AI’s business goals and market opportunities.

• Market Leadership:

  Conduct deep market research and customer interviews to identify unmet enterprise needs — especially in Generative AI for operational efficiency.

• Business Case Ownership:

  Lead the full product lifecycle including business case development, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.

• Technology Awareness:

  Stay ahead of trends in foundation models, vendor ecosystems, enterprise AI security, and technology maturity curves.

• Platform Thinking:

  Build a customer-backed platform strategy with reusable frameworks, APIs, governance layers, LLMOps, and domain-specific accelerators.

2. Leadership & Execution

• Team Building:

  Hire, mentor, and inspire a high-performing Product Management team; foster a customer-centric and data-driven culture.

• Cross-Functional Alignment:

  Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Commercial Leadership to ensure solutions are technically feasible and commercially impactful.

• Roadmap Ownership:

  Manage and evolve the product roadmap, balancing trade-offs and prioritizing high-impact initiatives.

3. Product Excellence

• AI Product Expertise:

  Guide the integration and commercialization of advanced AI/ML capabilities into scalable enterprise products.

• GenAI Focus:

  Define product strategy for GenAI agents, solving challenges such as hallucination prevention, contextual retrieval (RAG), and secure enterprise data integration.

• Performance & Metrics:

  Own key product metrics such as adoption, retention, ARPU, NPS, and platform engagement. Drive continuous optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

  10+ years in Product Management, including 3+ years managing Product Managers.

• Domain Expertise:

  Deep experience building products in AI/ML, SaaS, or similarly technical B2B domains.

• Technical Acumen:

  Strong understanding of LLMs, generative AI, vector databases, RAG, orchestration tools, model evaluation, and data pipelines.

• Enterprise Integration:

  Prior experience developing products that integrate with complex enterprise platforms.

• Leadership:

  Proven ability to define strategy, hire talent, and guide high-performing teams.

• Communication:

  Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to influence executives, engineers, and clients.

• Education:

  Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields from a

  premium institution (IIT / NIT or equivalent Tier-1 university)
