Head of Growth & Market Research  Intelligence

Clouvy Labs

Remote

HQ Presence: Srinagar + New York Virtual Office

7–12+ years


Compensation:

  • ₹80,000/month during 3-month probation

  • ₹1,00,000/month after probation

  • Total compensation up to ₹12 LPA + performance incentives

Our goal is to identify high-demand, low-competition problem areas and develop clean, scalable subscription-based tools.

This is an early-stage environment where research and market intelligence drive the entire product roadmap.


Role Overview


This is a senior strategic role focused on:

  • Deep market intelligence
  • SaaS opportunity discovery
  • Demand validation
  • Product positioning and GTM design
  • Early acquisition and growth experiments


Your insights directly influence which products Clouvy Labs builds and how they are taken to market.


Key Responsibilities


Market Research and Opportunity Discovery


  • Identify high-demand, low-competition SaaS opportunities
  • Study user frustrations across Reddit, communities, reviews, and marketplaces
  • Conduct competition, pricing, and monetization analysis
  • Perform keyword, demand, and intent analysis
  • Deliver structured opportunity scorecards with feasibility and market-fit evaluations


Demand Validation and PMF Experiments

  • Build landing pages, waitlists, and test funnels
  • Run small paid experiments to validate real demand
  • Measure willingness-to-pay, interest levels, and early adoption signals
  • Define personas, messaging, and positioning


Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Build complete launch and acquisition strategies
  • Define funnels from awareness to monetization
  • Recommend pricing, differentiation, and channel strategy


Hands-On Growth Execution

  • Conduct SEO research and build keyword clusters
  • Run early Google Ads/PPC experiments
  • Optimize landing pages and funnels
  • Track analytics, user behavior, and retention insights


Reporting & Documentation

  • Present insight-driven reports to the founder
  • Create validation frameworks and research playbooks
  • Build an internal system for continuous SaaS opportunity discovery



Ideal Candidate Profile


  • 7–12+ years of experience in SaaS growth, research, product strategy, or similar roles
  • Experience taking a product from idea → research → validation → launch
  • Ability to identify patterns, unmet needs, and monetizable opportunities
  • Excellent in tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, SimilarWeb, Google Trends, Analytics, and Search Console
  • Strong understanding of positioning, segmentation, competitive analysis, and user psychology
  • Capable of operating independently with high accountability
  • Clear and structured communication skills
  • Portfolio showcasing real work is essential


Success Expectations (First 45 Days)

  • 5–7 fully validated SaaS opportunities, each with clear research and demand evidence
  • One defined product direction backed by data
  • Early traction indicators such as waitlists, campaign results, or community feedback
  • A complete GTM plan for the selected product
  • A documented, repeatable research and validation system for future tools
