Position- Financial Controller

Job description

· Direct the entire gamut of finance & accounts operations, contribute fully to the development of the company’s strategy and provide financial analysis and guidance on business drivers and robust accounting system.

· Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic objectives.

· Research technical accounting issued for compliance, analyse financial data and provide insights to top management, develop & implement strategies for improving financial performance.

· Timely regulatory, transaction and financial reporting with quality control and maintain relationship with external and internal auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.

· Manage and comply with local, state and central government reporting requirements tax filing.

· Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and develop strategies that work to minimise financial risk and provide management with information vital to the decision making process.

· Report risk issued to the audit committee of the board of directors.

· Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the company’s operations and strengthen the financial reporting process and automation.

· Maintain banking relationship & represent company with bankers & investors.

· A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles and working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.

· Business control, financial analysts, Revenue reconciliation and balance sheet preparation & closure.

· Ensure timely accounting of expenses billing, payment to the vendors and collections for any delayed cases escalate to the management.

Required Candidate’s profile

CA/ MBA/ Master Degree in Accounting or economics with 20 + Years’ experience

ü Proactive mentality to anticipate and effectively mitigate issue promptly

ü Strong team development experience, developing a range of staff directly and indirectly to greater level of performance.

ü Resilience & can do attitude, willingness to be hands-on and detailed oriented.
