Job Description

Experience with D2C or Skincare is must.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the brand’s e-commerce growth strategy across D2C and marketplaces (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.)
  • Identify revenue opportunities and lead annual sales forecasting and planning
  • Drive global expansion strategies via cross-border e-commerce and international marketplaces

2. Marketplace Management

  • Oversee end-to-end operations for all e-commerce platforms including product listings, pricing, promotions, and content optimization
  • Maintain strong relationships with category managers at marketplaces
  • Ensure platform-wise profitability and growth

3. Performance Marketing

  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to manage paid ads across Google, Meta, and marketplaces
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and optimize for ROAS, ACOS, TACOS
  • Own performance dashboards and reporting

4. Website & User Experience

  • Oversee D2C website (Shopify or similar) performance and conversion optimization
  • Work with designers/developers for UI/UX enhancements, speed, SEO, and CRO
  • Introduce loyalty programs, subscription models, and cart abandonment recovery tactics

5. Team & Agency Management

  • Lead a cross-functional e-commerce team (cataloging, performance marketing, design, operations)
  • Coordinate with logistics, finance, and customer service teams for smooth order fulfillment
  • Manage and evaluate performance of external agencies

6. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report key KPIs: sales performance, conversion rates, traffic sources, cart metrics, customer retention, and CLV
  • Translate insights into actionable improvements

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • Proven track record of scaling e-commerce business (preferably in beauty, health, or wellness)
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and digital marketing acumen
  • Proficient with tools like Google Analytics, Excel, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Ads Manager
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and communication skills
