About the Role

Head of E-commerce


Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Strategy & Management

  • Own and drive revenue and P&L across all e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, etc.), with a primary focus on Amazon.
  • Develop and execute platform-specific strategies to optimize visibility, conversion, and profitability.

End-to-End Account Management

  • Oversee listings, pricing, keyword optimization, A+ content, inventory management, and promotions.
  • Manage platform ads and performance metrics to achieve sales and ROI goals.

Quick Commerce Growth

  • Build and scale presence on emerging quick commerce platforms such as Zepto and Blinkit.
  • Identify high-potential SKUs and ensure rapid execution and product-market fit.

Marketing & Visibility

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive influencer and performance marketing campaigns.
  • Optimize brand store presence and manage participation in key platform events and promotions.

Market Insights & Product Strategy

  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and consumer trend analysis.
  • Recommend new product launches or improvements based on demand and market insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with design, supply chain, and customer experience teams to ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a small team (2–3 members), fostering ownership, efficiency, and continuous learning.


Key Requirements

  • Experience:

    5–7 years total experience, with a minimum of 3 years in e-commerce marketplace management.
  • Track Record:

    Proven success in managing and scaling Amazon accounts.
  • Industry Background:

    Experience with brands in personal care, health & wellness, or consumer electronics. (Experience in fashion, apparel, or jewellery will not be considered relevant.)


  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and ad platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High ownership and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
