Aquis Search has partnered with a global VC fund in their search for a hands-on, high-velocity Head of Business Development in Bangalore to lead outbound deal sourcing for a global VC fund investing in India’s most exciting early to mid-stage tech startups. What you’ll do: Build and scale outbound systems to identify high-potential startups aligned to our client's thesis Work closely with investment partners to drive pipeline and qualify opportunities Leverage innovative tools to drive scale Actively experiment, analyze outreach performance, and optimize results Attend ecosystem events, build founder relationships, and stay ahead of trends You are: 7–10 years into your career with strong exposure to outbound BD / inside sales From a fast-scaling SaaS startup or tech-led firm Fluent with business development tools, outreach stacks, and growth ops metrics A builder — someone who can roll up their sleeves and scale a GTM motion from scratch Based in Bangalore (preferred) and deeply connected to India’s startup ecosystem Bonus if you’ve: Worked in or around VC/PE/startup communities Built or managed a team of SDRs or inside sales professionals Used outbound systems to generate meetings/pipeline at scale Why join?
