Job Description

The Head – International Business is responsible for driving the hospital’s international patient program, medical tourism strategy, and overseas partnerships. The role involves identifying and cultivating business opportunities from target geographies, developing referral networks, managing international patient experience, and ensuring revenue growth from the global market.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Strategy & Development
  • Develop and implement the international business strategy aligned with the hospital’s vision and annual business plan
  • Identify high-potential countries and segments for patient inflow—particularly from Africa, the Middle East, SAARC, and CIS regions
  • Establish business alliances with international facilitators, insurance partners, embassies, and corporate clients.
  • Lead participation in international healthcare expos, conferences, and digital marketing campaigns.
Relationship Management
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with embassies, foreign government health ministries, corporate clients, and healthcare agencies.
  • Oversee onboarding and performance of international business associates, medical facilitators, and agents.
  • Work closely with internal teams—clinical services, finance, and operations—to ensure smooth coordination for all international cases.
Operational Excellence
  • Design end-to-end processes for international patient management—visa assistance, travel coordination, translation, lodging, and post-treatment care.
  • Establish service-level standards for international patients to ensure exceptional experience.
  • Coordinate with medical teams for case evaluation, treatment planning, and cost estimation.
Financial Management
  • Set and achieve annual revenue and margin targets for the international business vertical.
  • Forecast budgets, monitor ROI on marketing spends, and manage pricing strategies for international patients.
  • Develop dashboards and MIS reports to track patient inflow, conversion ratios, and revenue trends.
Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, visa, and medical regulations for international patient care.
  • Oversee documentation, consent, and data privacy standards in line with hospital policies and global norms.
