Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Group Account Manager. He/ She will be responsible for leading a portfolio of key client accounts, driving strategy, ensuring delivery excellence, and managing account teams. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into impactful business solutions.




Key Responsibilities:


1) Client Relationship Management


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders across assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by understanding their business goals and challenges.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and consistent delivery.


2) Account Strategy & Growth


  • Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with client objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead annual and quarterly business reviews with clients.


3) Project & Delivery Management


  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of campaigns, projects, and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, digital, performance, analytics, production) to ensure timely and high-quality output.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.


4) Team Leadership


  • Manage and mentor Account Managers, Executives, and cross-functional team members.
  • Allocate resources effectively across projects and ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and promote a culture of ownership and excellence.


5) Financial Management


  • Own the financial health of the account group, including forecasting, billing, and profitability.
  • Track budgets, approve estimates, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.


6) Reporting & Analysis


  • Lead reporting on campaign outcomes, insights, and performance KPIs.
  • Present strategic recommendations and improvement plans to clients.



Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in client servicing/account management within advertising, digital marketing, or media agencies.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple high-value client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand strategy, and campaign planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
