Job Description

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of Brand Managers
  • Monitor team workload and optimise time utilisation
  • Assist management with delegation of assignments and workload
  • Mentor and develop the BM team; identify training needs based on industry trends
  • Hold the team accountable and manage project creep through account-level P&L oversight

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Provide strategic direction to support client success
  • Identify business development opportunities in collaboration with the Business Development team
  • Communicate clearly with the BM team to ensure seamless execution of client programs
  • Manage internal and external conflicting interests
  • Directly manage select high-visibility accounts

P&L MANAGEMENT

  • Revenue Generation & Forecasting:

    Set revenue targets, forecast income based on timelines, budgets, and scope; upsell/cross-sell services
  • Cost Management:

    Ensure production, media, and third-party costs stay within budget
  • Resource Allocation:

    Efficient distribution of internal resources across teams
  • Client Retention & Growth:

    Maintain strong, lasting client relationships to support renewal and upsell opportunities
  • Profitability Analysis:

    Identify overspending, undercharging, or inefficiencies impacting account profitability

BRAND THINKING & IDEATION

  • This is not an operational role it requires strategic thinking for the brand.
  • Participate in campaign and calendar ideation
  • Identify brand challenges and proactively suggest marketing solutions
  • Write effective creative briefs for internal teams
  • Conduct research and provide strong direction to creative, strategy, and media teams

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing;

    agency experience is a MUST

  • Experience managing multiple mandates (digital, media, creative, production, social, etc.)
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with marketing platforms and tools
  • Strong understanding of agency budgeting & forecasting

QUALIFICATION REQUISITE

  • Graduate or UGC-approved Diploma holder in Mass Media, Marketing Communication, Advertising, or equivalent
  • Certifications in Digital Media / SEO / SEM add bonus points
