General Manager

• Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the entire aluminium profile manufacturing operations—production, extrusion, finishing, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain.
• Plan and execute strategies to achieve monthly/annual production targets with optimum cost efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards (ISO, BIS or equivalent), safety norms, and environmental regulations.
• Supervise plant maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Oversee procurement of raw materials, inventory management, and vendor negotiations.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Support new product development and liaise with R&D for extrusion die design and profile innovations.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, analyze financial performance, and optimize resource utilization.
• Build and lead a high-performance team; provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Aluminium Extrusion Process: In-depth understanding of extrusion press operations, die design, billet heating, quenching, and ageing processes.
• Surface Finishing: Knowledge of anodizing, powder coating, and other finishing techniques.
• Quality Management: Familiarity with international standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, BIS), testing of mechanical and chemical properties.
• Production Planning & Control: Strong skills in capacity planning, lean manufacturing, and optimization of cycle times.
• Maintenance & Engineering: Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, extrusion press maintenance, and automation controls (PLC/SCADA).
• Metallurgy & Materials: Strong understanding of aluminium alloys, mechanical properties, and heat treatment processes.
• Software Proficiency: ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), AutoCAD for profile drawings, and MS Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
