Position: General Manager – CollectionsExperience: 14+ YearsCTC: Hike in the current CTCWork Location: CyberTech Campus, Thane, Maharashtra

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager – Collections to lead large- scale, multi-process collections operations. This role requires strategic oversight, strong people leadership, deep domain expertise in collections, and the ability to drive business outcomes while ensuring compliance and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Provide strategic leadership for end-to-end collections operations (First-Party preferred) • Manage senior leadership layers including Senior Managers, Managers, and Operations Heads • Own overall performance across recovery, productivity, quality, compliance, and cost metrics • Drive scale and stability of operations with teams of 300+ FTEs • Partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure SLA adherence and long-term relationship management • Lead governance, risk, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance initiatives • Review MIS, dashboards, and financials to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities • Drive transformation initiatives including automation, analytics, digitization, and process optimization • Support business growth through new client onboarding, transitions, and expansions • Handle high-level escalations and represent operations in senior leadership and client forums • Build a strong leadership pipeline through coaching, succession planning, and talent development

Required Skills & Competencies

• Extensive experience in collections operations, with strong exposure to first-party collections • Proven track record of managing large, multi-layered teams • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage P&L, budgets, and cost optimization • Deep understanding of collections compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks • Excellent client management, communication, and executive presentation skills • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels Eligibility Criteria • Minimum 14+ years of experience in Collections Operations • At least 7+ years in senior leadership roles (AGM / GM / Sr. Manager) • Experience in BPO/KPO, captive, or financial services environments • Strong exposure to US banking, credit cards, loans, or telecom collections preferred • Graduation mandatory; MBA preferred
