As a General Manager at Mindtel, a leading enterprise in the travel and tourism industry, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient management across all departments. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic business plans to achieve company goals, monitoring industry trends to identify growth opportunities, and fostering relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance business partnerships. Representing the company at industry events and conferences will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role within the travel and tourism industry. Strong business management principles, leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning skills are essential. Proficiency in budget management, financial reporting, analytical abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. You should also have experience with regulatory requirements in the travel industry, a Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. Experience in customer service, managing client relationships, inspiring and collaborating with teams, and willingness to travel as needed are important qualifications. Fluency in English is required, while additional languages are a plus.
