Lead and mentor engineering team to achieve project goals and ensure Engineering Excellence.
Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive team performance and professional growth.
Oversee the design, development, and execution of solar, wind and BESS energy projects from conception to deployment.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety standards.
Coordinate with other departments, including project management, operations, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the company’s engineering practices are state-of-the-art.
Provide technical guidance and support to resolve engineering challenges and optimize system performance.
Develop and manage the engineering department’s budget, resource allocation, and strategic planning efforts.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance project delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure engineering solutions meet or exceed expectations.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build and maintain professional relationships and enhance the company’s reputation.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of engineering work.

Applicant requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field),Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering management, in a leadership role within the solar energy or renewable energy sector.
Proven experience in managing large-scale engineering projects and teams.
Strong technical knowledge of solar, wind and BESS systems, technologies and industry best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and manage complex projects effectively.
Proficiency in engineering softwares, project management tools, and data analysis.
