- Lead the planning and development phases of utility-scale solar projects, including site assessments, feasibility studies, and resource analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Oversee the construction phases of utility-scale solar plants, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project milestones.
- Utilize deep knowledge of solar technology to optimize the design and performance of utility-scale solar power plants.
- Implement best practices for maximizing energy output and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
- Ensure projects are completed within established timelines, addressing any challenges proactively.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold the highest standards in construction and operation.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor and improve project quality.
- Maintain clear and open communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Applicant requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience of 15-25 years in utility-scale solar project management, including successful project delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of solar technology, construction methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, regulations, and compliance in solar project construction.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
