Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST’s ‘clients’ include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets.
Client and Investor
The Client and Investor Analytics team is responsible for delivering advanced analytics and technology solutions that support the firm’s margin calculations and risk infrastructure. The team also provides analytics for the Institutional Securities and Wealth Management business units. Additionally, it develops and maintains solutions for administering hedge funds, including accounting, subscriptions/redemptions, and reconciliations. What You’ll Do In The Role
- RAG Solution Development: Design and implement scalable RAG pipelines that integrate LLMs with enterprise data sources.
- Accuracy Tuning & Evaluation: Develop robust evaluation frameworks to measure and improve model performance using custom metrics such as factual accuracy, latency, and coherence.
- Prompt Engineering: Create and refine prompts to optimize LLM outputs for specific business use cases.
- Optimization & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in model behavior, retrieval quality, and system performance.
- Governance & Risk Management: Ensure all solutions comply with firmwide AI governance, risk, and control standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to model cards, audit trails, and performance dashboards.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Strong experience with GenAI solutioning, product development, or experimentation.
- Deep understanding of RAG concepts, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), and embedding models.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks like LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and AI search tools is a plus.
- Experience with agentic frameworks and human-in-the-loop systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
