Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant
Industry: Enterprise Software & ERP implementation for supply chain and operations. Sector: Cloud-based digital transformation and ERP services delivering end-to-end supply chain, warehouse, procurement and manufacturing solutions for global customers.We are hiring a remote Functional Consultant focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management to join a fast-paced implementation team. This role will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure, test and deliver D365 SCM solutions that drive operational efficiency.Role & Responsibilities
- Lead functional design and end-to-end configuration of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules (Inventory, Warehouse, Procurement, Manufacturing) for live deployments.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis, run workshops with stakeholders, and translate business requirements into solution blueprints and configuration artifacts.
- Plan and execute data migration using Data Management Framework (DMF), including mapping, cleansing and validation for go-live readiness.
- Define and deliver test plans—unit, integration and UAT—coordinate defect triage and sign-off across business and technical teams.
- Use Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps for release management, environment deployments and issue tracking; support cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
- Collaborate with integration and development teams to validate interfaces (APIs, middleware) and support performance tuning and operational handover.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven track record implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management in one or more full lifecycle projects.
- Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS), Inventory management and Procurement & Sourcing processes in D365.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Data Management Framework (DMF) for deployments and migrations.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for release management, test tracking and deployment coordination.
- Ability to run functional workshops, perform process modelling and produce design documentation (functional specs, fit-gap, test cases).
- Experience supporting go-live activities, hypercare and knowledge transfer to support teams.
Preferred
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate.
- Experience with manufacturing/discrete industries and MES/production integration.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate / Power Apps) or Azure integration patterns.
