Primary Title: Python Backend Developer

We deliver production-grade APIs, data pipelines, and reliable services that power business workflows—seeking hands-on backend engineers to join our on-site India engineering team.

Location & Work Type:

India — On-site (full-time)Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Python (Django, Flask or FastAPI) to support web and mobile clients.
• Author efficient database schemas and queries (Postgres/MySQL); implement caching strategies with Redis and optimise data access for performance and scale.
• Integrate external services and messaging layers (RabbitMQ/Kafka) and implement background processing (Celery or equivalent) for asynchronous workloads.
• Drive engineering quality: write unit/integration tests (pytest), participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD, containerisation (Docker) and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA and DevOps on feature delivery, incident resolution, and production tuning—participate in agile ceremonies on-site.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve system reliability using logging, metrics and alerts; proactively address performance and security gaps.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3+ years of hands-on Python backend development experience building production services or APIs.
• Practical experience with at least one web framework: Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and familiarity with caching/NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB, etc.).
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs, authentication patterns and integrating third-party APIs.
• Experience with Git-centred workflows, unit testing (pytest), Docker and basic CI/CD pipelines.
  

Preferred

• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka), Celery, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Prior on-site experience in enterprise projects, microservices architecture or performance optimisation.
